10th Annual World Dance Showcase Audition Entry Form

Concert Date:	Saturday, March 17, 2012 at 8 pm
Eligibility:	Performers of traditional, culture-specific dance styles, aged 16 years and older.
Audition Location:	The Publick Playhouse 5445 Landover Road Cheverly, MD 20782
Auditions (by appointment):	Sunday, January 22, 2012, 10 am to 6 pm. Snow Emergency Date – Sunday, January 29, 2012, 10 am–6 pm. Call 301-277-1711 and press "3" when prompted to do so Please note - Your audition time will be scheduled immediately upon our receipt of entry form.
Entries:	One work per choreographer. Any traditional work not exceeding 15 minutes in length, in any culture-specific dance style. Work must be auditioned in finished form with costumes.
Equipment Available:	General stage lighting, microphones and CD player. Music may be live or pre-recorded.
Application Deadline:	January 16, 2012 at 5 pm.

Six dance groups will be selected to perform in concert. Selected groups will receive an honorarium of $500. Employees of The M-NCPPC or their families are not eligible to receive honoraria. Selected artists are asked to be available for technical rehearsal on March 16, 2012, 7-10 pm. For additional information call 301-446-3232; TTY 301-446-6802.
