29th Annual Choreographers' Showcase Audition Form

Please note: Your audition time will be scheduled immediately upon receipt of your entry form.
Audition Location: Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center (Dance Theatre)
University of Maryland, College Park, Maryland
Requirements: Any modern work, not exceeding 15 minutes in length, created within the last two years.  Work must be auditioned in finished form with props, sets, and costumes. Choreographer must be aged 18 or older and reside in Maryland, Virginia, or the District of Columbia. Please attach a one paragraph bio of the choreographer.  (One work per choreographer).

Six choreographers will be selected. Selected choreographers will be notified by e-mail and phone on November 21, 2011.  Please be prepared to submit a digital photograph upon notification.  Choreographers selected for Concert will be responsible for performance-quality CD and transportation of any sets.  Choreographers presented in concert will receive an honorarium of $700 and a DVD of their performance.  All applicants will receive adjudicators’ written comments by e-mail.  For additional information call 301-446-3232, TTY 301-446-6802..
