PROGRAMS & EVENTS
Surratt House Museum is open from mid-January thru mid-December each year. In addition to guided tours, a wide variety of special events and exhibits are held. These include lectures, a spring conference, bus trips, a summer open house and festive Yuletide programs.
Popular exhibits have included displays on local history, 19th-century weddings, the black soldier during the Civil War, Victorian mourning customs, and the roots of the women's movement. Join the Surratt House Museum staff as we celebrate the season with children during an afternoon of music, and crafts. Appropriate for ages 5-12.

Join the festivities as the bells of the Virginia Bronze Handbell Ensemble ring with the traditional music of this glorious season.
