RE-INTERNMENT CEREMONY

After fourteen years, the remains of the nine individuals were re-interred on June 18, 2004. The ceremony was a modern day re-internment into which some 18th century funeral practices were integrated to give the audience a sense of how these individuals were originally laid to rest. Only one body (that of Lettice Lee Wardrop) was actually interred in the ceremony, the other eight individuals had already been blessed and laid to rest in the vault.
